The L.O.C Method

Hey Sistas, today I’m going to give you a step by step on The LOC Method. The LOC Method helps moisturize your hair and leaves your hair looking healthy. LOC stands for Liquid, Oil, and Cream. The liquid should either be water or a water based leave in. The oil can be any oil of your choice. The oil is used to LOC in the moisture and it leaves your hair looking shiny. My favorite oil is olive oil and coconut oil. The cream is any creamy moisture. The cream is normally applied last it prevents the hair from losing any moisture. The LOC methods will increase growth and help prevent breakage to your hair. Here are the steps that my model used to achieve her LOC method look.

1.     First she co-washed her hair. Co-washing is only using conditioner to wash your hair. Many researchers have found it is better to co-wash than to wash with shampoo. Shampoo strips your hair of all its moisture and leaves you hair dry and brittle. She than detangled her hair with a detangling brush in the shower.

2.    She let her hair deep condition using Aussie Conditioner . Deep conditioning helps repair any follicles in the hair and help moisturize your hair. She let her hair deep condition for seven hours.

3.    Next she washed all of the conditioner out.

4.    She applied leave in (Shea Moisture), oil (Coconut oil) and cream (Garnier Whole Blends ). She also applied a lot of water to keep her hair hydrated. Water based products are the key to keeping your hair hydrated. It is important to read the labels of any product before purchasing it.

5.     She finger detangled her hair instead of using a comb or a detangling brush after adding the products. The finger detangling works better when your hair is damp.

6.    She applied gel to make her curl pattern stay

7.    Lastly, she let her hair air dry over night to achieve the LOC look the next morning.

The LOC method is not very hard and if done correctly you can achieve beautiful curls. It is important to use the right products for your hair type when trying to achieve the LOC method. I hope you all can achieve this look Bye, Sistas!
