Big-Chop Turn Signature Look
Hey Sistas, so many natural girls did the big- chop to start
on their natural hair journey. Although, I did not do the big -chop I transitioned,
many girls feel like the big- chop is easier than waiting until all the relaxer
is fully gone. The big -chop is a big step. Many girls feel that they are
defined by their hair and without it they will not feel as feminine.

Sydney gave tips on her daily routine with having a low-cut.
1.
She wets her hair and puts leave in curl milk
(Crème of Nature) or conditioner (Shea Moisture) with Ecostyle gel or mousse.
2.
Next she uses oil on her hair to make sure it stays
moisturized.
3.
She lets the products air dry and heads out the door!
At night she puts curl milk (Crème of Nature) in her hair
after she gets out of the shower.
Many people feel the big chop is not for them but its for
everyone. I personally feel like the big- chop
gives you way more confidence. When
we are young people stress the importance of having long pretty hair. In reality
there is nothing wrong with having a short low-cut. I feel like low-cuts definitely
shows off your natural beauty. Hair does not define who we are as African-
American women. Many women have embraced the big-chop and it has become their signature
look. Super Stars like Lupita Nyong’o and Solange Knowles have made it popular
to wear short natural hair. The idea of having natural hair is to embrace it
and be confident. Keep rocking the big -chop, Bye Sistas!
